Writing Thesis and Dissertation Proposals

Tuesday, October 29, 2019 2:30pm to 3:30pm

The School of Graduate Studies will sponsor a teaching workshop for both new and current graduate students.

This workshop is brought to you in partnership with the Teaching Transformation and Development Academy as part of the School of Graduate Studies teaching workshop series.

In this workshop we will discuss the rhetorical situation and common elements of the thesis/dissertation topic proposal. Participants should come prepared to write and practice various strategies for developing effective topic proposals. Please note that these workshops are designed to address general writing principles and practice writing skills that should transfer across disciplines. This workshop is open to graduate students from any discipline and at any state of the writing process.
