Using a Citation Manager for the Research and Writing Process

Tuesday, February 16, 2021 11:00am to 12:00pm

Virtual Event

This workshop is brought to you in partnership with the Chester Fritz Library and the Teaching Transformation and Development Academy as part of the School of Graduate Studies professional development workshop series.

Managing the research and writing process can be a challenging and time consuming skill to develop.  Citation managers, like Zotero and Mendeley, can be tremendously helpful tools for streamlining the research, reading, writing, collaboration, and citation process.  In this session, we will dive into some of the features of Zotero and Mendeley beyond the basic set-up (such as annotating, organizing with tags, sharing bibliographies with collaborators, etc.).  Information for picking the right citation manager for your research can be found on the Chester Fritz Library’s website (libguides.und.edu/citation-managers), and librarians are available to assist you with any questions you have!

Registration for these sessions is required. The link to participate in the session virtually will be sent to you in a confirmation email immediately upon registration.
