Please join us for our first University Council on Women+ event on September 18 at 9:00am in Memorial Union Room 139, where we’ll have some coffee and pastries and talk about a book chapter from Karyn Sproles’ Nine Guiding Principles for Women in Higher Education on how to build mentoring relationships. It’s a quick read with a lot of examples and strategies, but if you don’t get the chance to look at the chapter, don’t let that hold you back: at the event, you’ll get to learn about Sproles’ advice, share experiences, and come away with some concrete plans to build more support into your professional life.
