This exhibition offers viewers a peek into the history of two of UND's creative icons. Painter Paul Barr (1892-1953) served as the University's first chair of the Dept. of Art & Design, holding the position for 25 years. Ceramicist Margaret Cable (1884-1960) taught at UND for 39 years, creating a pottery legacy now referred to as the "Cable era". Both had a love for North Dakota and left lasting impressions on UND and the art world.
