About this Event
This fall marks the 25th anniversary of the Special Education Resident Teacher Program (SERTP). Since 1997, the University of North Dakota and the North Dakota Department of Public Instruction (NDDPI) have partnered to recruit, train, and retain special education teachers in North Dakota and Northwest Minnesota.
The department of Teaching, Leadership and Professional Practice in the College of Education and Human Development will be hosting a celebration to honor those who have gone through the program as well as the many individuals and organizations that have contributed to SERTP's success.
Current SERTP students, SERTP alumni, NDDPI partners, special education directors and others who have contributed to the preparation of high-quality teachers and professionals in the field of special education are all invited to attend. Light refreshments will be served. RSVPs must be received no later than Friday, Aug. 19.
