Each spring, the UND Writers Conference hosts a series of public workshops that introduce folks in the community to the work of the authors visiting UND and Grand Forks as part of the annual writers conference. This February, the Writers Conference will host four community workshops, which will be free and open to the public. Join us—and other writers and makers in the community—for this spring's UND Writers Conference Public Workshop Series!

The workshops will be held each in Sunday in February, with a different workshop leader introducing the creative techniques and strategies used by some of the authors visiting campus this March. Here is the workshop schedule:

  • Sunday, February 2, at 2:00 PM: Patrick Thomas Henry, leading a workshop inspired by the work of Lisa Ko
  • Sunday, February 9, at 2:00 PM: Justin Wigard, leading a workshop inspired by the work of Kristen Radtke
  • Sunday, February 16, at 2:00 PM: Anna Kinney, leading a workshop inspired by the work of Lillian-Yvonne Bertram
  • Sunday, February 23, at 2:00 PM: Casey Fuller, leading a workshop inspired by the work of Eugene Lim

The UND Writers Conference is thrilled to continue our ongoing partnership with the Grand Forks Public Library. The Conference is grateful to the library for its continued support, and for providing a venue for this spring's workshops.
