Join us in Washington, D.C. for a special three-part event focused on national security, featuring John McNiff, Vice President and General Manager for Iridium. This event will bring together alumni, industry partners, and students from the Nistler College of Business & Public Administration for an afternoon of conversation, exploration, and connection on Tuesday, March 10, at the U.S. Capitol Complex.

UND LEADS: Broad Perspectives on National Security Fireside Chat

Featuring President Andrew Armacost & Vice President and General Manager for Iridium John McNiff

2-3 p.m. | Capitol Visitor Center, HVC 201 A & B

Each semester, the University of North Dakota welcomes a distinguished national security leader to engage in a fireside chat with UND President Andrew Armacost. The spring installment of this series takes place in Washington, D.C., and complements the University’s National Security Initiative, which advances research and prepares the next generation of national security professionals.

 

Tour of the U.S. Capitol

3:20-4:20 p.m.

Following the fireside chat, participants are invited to join a walking tour of the U.S. Capitol, offering a closer look at the history, architecture, and institutions at the heart of American democracy. The tour will be escorted from HVC-201 and end at SR-385 for social.

 

Networking Social

4:30-6:30 p.m. | Russell Senate Office Building, Room 385 

The day will conclude with a networking social bringing together UND alumni, industry partners, students, and friends of the University for conversation and connection. University leadership will provide updates from campus.
