Students are invited to A Trauma-Informed Practices Event, a FREE session to learn about recognizing and managing trauma.

• Gain an introduction to trauma and its relationship to brain development and student learning
• Learn how teachers can foster trauma-responsive classrooms and schools
• Understand the importance of educator wellness

A Trauma-Informed Practices Event is presented by UND Teacher Education in partnership with NCS3: The National Center for Safe Supportive Schools and UND's University Counseling Center. This event is specifically designed for teacher education students, but other UND students, faculty and staff are welcome to attend.
