Ages 6 - 13
August 12 - 16
In this camp, students will play and experiment with several different types of printmaking. From day one you will be getting your hands inky and become completely emerged in a new and exciting art form. Campers will design and create relief print plates with line, detail, patterns, and a collograph print plate built with yarn, fabric, leaves, sand and more. We’ll print in black and white, multiple colors, and even a rainbow roll!
Jeanne O’Neil is an artist specializing in printmaking. She has also worked in fiber arts and has been a professional mural artist. Jeanne is a musician and dance caller, playing banjo and concertina, and is co-founder of the North Country Fiddle and Dance community organization. She teaches 3rd, 4th and 5th grade art as an Artist in the Classroom in the Grand Forks elementary schools.
