Most of us have witnessed an incident that we wish we could have done something about. What got in the way of taking action? In this web conference training with Step UP! developer Becky Bell, M.A. from the University of Arizona, learn the foundations of bystander intervention theory and the tools and techniques to transition passive bystanders into active bystanders. See how bystander intervention applies to many areas of prevention including substance abuse, sexual assault, relationship abuse, discrimination, hazing, disordered eating, depression, anger, gambling, and academic integrity. Participants will be challenged to consider how to implement bystander intervention training into their campus and community outreach. Be a part of bringing this important program to UND!
