About this Event
Memorial Union , Student Diversity & Inclusion, Room 201
Are you graduating at the end of the Fall semester? Stop by Student Diversity & Inclusion to get your identity cord and celebrate your achievements!
Our cords:
Multicultural cords are multicolored to represent the diverse racial and ethnic identities of our students.
Indigenous cords are white, black, yellow, and red to represent the four directions on the medicine wheel.
The Lavender cord is for LGBTQIA graduates. The color lavender represents the merging of black and pink, colors once used to oppress and has been reclaimed for empowerment.
