As we think about advancing diversity, equity, inclusion and access in our classes, curriculum and programs, we often anticipate that we will meet pushback on our efforts from students as well as fellow faculty, staff and other colleagues. Understanding that resistance and being prepared to address it makes it much more likely we will be successful in these essential efforts to create belonging. In this session we will discuss the nature of pushback and how we can best address it.
