Red River Women's Studies Conference

Saturday, April 20, 2024 8:45 am to 5 pm

The University of North Dakota’s Women and Gender Studies Program is hosting this year's Red River Women’s Studies Conference on Saturday, April 20th in Memorial Union. This annual one-day academic conference, which travels to a different campus every year, is supported by UND, NDSU, MSUM, and Concordia College’s Women and Gender Studies Programs. This year’s conference theme is Feminist Visions for the Future. We are bringing together voices across academic fields to build a common framework for envisioning feminist futures – local, national, and global – rooted in equality, equity, diversity, and inclusivity. Using feminist tools to analyze connections between past, present, and future, we hope to begin building pathways and alliances.
