About this Event
This fall, the UND English Department is excited to host two Open Mic Nights, in-person! Our first Open Mic of the fall semester will be hosted by the Chester Fritz Library, in Room 225 (the Reading Room)! Please note that this is an updated location!
All current UND students are welcome to attend and share their original work. We welcome short performances of poetry, fiction, creative nonfiction, monologues or scenes, songs, and more. (We only ask that you keep your performance short—about 5–7 minutes—so that every one has a chance to share!) Or, just join us and celebrate the work of your fellow UND writers and artists.
Our first Open Mic Night of the fall semester will be held on Wednesday, September 25, from 6:00–7:30 PM CT. The event is open to all. We'll have a reading sign-up sheet at the event; no pre-registration is required.
The English Department would like to thank the Chester Fritz Library for hosting our first Open Mic of the fall 2024 semester! We look forward to welcoming everyone to our Open Mic Nights—and to hearing the brilliant creative work of our UND student writers and artists!
