This free workshop teaches volunteers to implement the RedRover Readers Program.

RedRover Readers is an innovative social-emotional learning program that can be incorporated into classrooms, libraries, and other settings. It features:

• The use of stories about animals to foster empathy in children.
• A neutral discussion methodology to foster empathy in children ages 5 through 11.
• A ready-to-use curriculum with teaching guides.

Completing the workshop as well as a criminal background check certifies participants to deliver the program at the Grand Forks Public Library and beyond.
