Managing Stress: Activating the Parasympathetic Nervous System

Getting out of “Fight/Flight/Freeze” mode and entering into “Rest and Digest” mode is key to reducing stress and increasing our productive energy.  Participants in this workshop will practice three simple and effective techniques to activate their parasympathetic nervous system.

Managing Stress: Activating the Parasympathetic Nervous System is a webinar being conducted by staff of the University of North Dakota Counseling Center. The webinar is facilitated with the understanding that the limitations of this presentation will not allow for facilitators to engage in rendering mental health services and that it is not intended to be used as therapy. If mental health assistance is needed, please reach out to the UCC at 701-777-2127 to schedule an appointment. In case of an emergency, please contact your nearest emergency service.
