Intersections: Anti-Racism & White Consciousness

This workshop focuses on how individuals recognize and take responsibility for their own power and privilege. Anti-racism work in this workshop begins with developing the understanding that individuals take responsibility for their education instead of placing the responsibility on Black, Indigenous, and People of color (BIPOC). The goal of the workshop is to provide an overview and understanding of steps to begin anti-racism work, education, and dialogue.

This Anti-Racism and White Consciousness seminar was very helpful. I appreciated how the moderators asked us to be "vulnerable" and shared their own experiences. I felt it was very valuable, and I would like to see more students join these.
