Come to the Empire to learn and practice improvisational skills!

If you have ever considered doing improv, or if you want to give your presentations some pop, this is the workshop for you. Experience the playfulness and fun of improvisational comedy in a fun and safe environment!

About your instructor:

Kelly Clow is a Tampa, FL based performer with over 30 years experience in stage, screen, television, voice over and commercials. He was first introduced to improv in high school and studied improvisation at the Second City Chicago. In 2000, he joined his improv troupe, Nine and Numb, in Grand Forks and in 2003, he founded Nine and Numb Entertainment, LLC and moved the company to Tampa, FL where they have been performing at theaters, nightclubs and festivals for the past 20 years. Kelly can currently be seen at the Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal Studios Islands of Adventure in Orlando and as the face and voice of the Cobra's Curse roller coaster at Busch Gardens Tampa Bay.

Kelly will guide you through 2 evenings of instruction (approximately 2 hours each evening) and prepare you to show what you’ve learned in an Improv Showcase for Late Nite @ the Empire on Friday, June 16.

WORKSHOP DATES ARE JUNE 14 AND 15, 2023, 7 PM TO APPROXIMATELY 9 PM.
