With immigration issues being at the forefront of news and politics right now, the International Human Rights Organization at the UND School of Law is presenting a panel discussion on immigration law specific to the area. Panel speakers include: Sue Swanson, Grand Forks, ND immigration attorney and immigration law professor; Dane DeKrey, Advocacy Director for the ACLU of North Dakota; Megan Healy, AUSA for U.S. Attorney's Office of North Dakota; and Yasmeen Frost, Resettlement Services Team Lead for Lutheran Social Services.
Please join in a social at 5 p.m. where light food and beverages will be served. The panel discussion will follow around 5:30 p.m, with the event ending by 7 p.m. This event is open to the public.
