Graduate Student Appreciation Week celebrates the important role our graduate and professional students play on campus and at a distance! 

Our graduate students are a valued part of the University of North Dakota community every day of the year, but we can't help but celebrate you in a special way this week! Graduate appreciation week is dedicated to fun and fellowship with other graduate students. All currently enrolled UND graduate students are invited to participates. Plan now to participate in the following activities:

FREE MOVIE VOUCHER 

• Free admission to any movie at River Cinema 15. Movie voucher must be picked up in advance.
• Voucher available for pick-up at UND Student Gov’t/Student Involvement Office starting April 4.
• One voucher per graduate student. Valid April 4 through April 10. Student ID required.
   

 APRIL 4 – Free Root Beer Floats

• Kickoff off the week’s festivities with a free root beer float at the Gershman Graduate Center from 1pm – 3pm.

 APRIL 5 – Taco Tuesday

• Join us for lunch at the Gershman Graduate Center from 11:30am – 1pm. Taco in a bag will be served on the 2^nd floor!

 APRIL 6 – Virtual Bingo 

• Participate in virtual Bingo from 4-5pm for your chance to win! Register HEREby April 7, 12pm to participate!
• Door prize drawings held at 9am, 11am, 1pm, and 3pm. All currently enrolled graduate students automatically entered to win. Winners will be announced on Facebook and notified by email.

 APRIL 7 – Happy Hour Thursday

• Join us for Happy Hour at Up North Pizza in East Grand Forks from 4:30-6:30pm. 314 North St. NW, East Grand Forks, MN
• Free pizza and appetizers will be served starting at 5pm. Voucher for one free non alcoholic beverage will be provided.

 APRIL 8 – Free Breakfast Sandwiches 

• Stop by the Gershman Graduate Center student lounge between 9-11am to pick up a free breakfast sandwich (while supplies last!)
• Grad appreciation week grand prize drawing April 8 at 3pm. Winners will be announced on Facebook and notified by email by Monday, April 11.
   

 GRAND PRIZE DRAWING

• Participate in our graduate appreciation week activities for a chance to win one of the following five GRAND prizes!
• Apple watch, Airpods+case; Pair of Hydroflasks, JBL wireless speaker, Beats Earphones

To enter the drawing, complete the following:

• On campus graduate students: Attend any of the four available in person food/social events held this week (one door prize entry per event)
• Online graduate students: Beginning April 4, find the UND School of Graduate Studies Facebook page, comment on any of the three "Grand Prize Drawing" posts by answering the question on each post and/or attend the virtual bingo event on April 6 (one door prize entry per response, limited to one response per post. one entry for virtual Bingo). Facebook posts are scheduled to appear on April 4, April 5, and April 6.
• Maximum 4 door prize entries per online or on campus student 
• Online students who don’t have a Facebook account (only), may submit your responses to each of the questions to be entered into the drawing HERE.
