Join us on Thursday, April 11th at 1:00 pm for an afternoon with the Deputy Adjutant General of the North Dakota National Guard! This event is focused on highlighting the profound career of Brigadier General Jackie Huber and how her time spent in the University of North Dakota Army Reserve Officer Training Corps program (ROTC) had an impact on her development as a leader. Professor of Military Science, Major Jared Budenski, and Cadets Mitchell Morrison and Alex French will also speak during this event about the ROTC program and provide insight on topics like educational benefits and career opportunities.
Brigadier General Huber earned a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice from the University of North Dakota and commissioned as a Military Police Officer in August of 1992. She also holds a Master’s degree in Human Resource Management from the University of Mary and a Master’s degree in Strategic Studies from the U.S. Army War College. She has received several prestigious awards throughout her career, including the Legion of Merit, the Bronze Star Medal, and the Meritorious Service Medal with four Bronze Oak Leaf Clusters. Brig. Gen. Huber has held many noteworthy positions in her career, with the most recent being Deputy Adjutant General for the North Dakota National Guard. She is the first female to hold this position in the North Dakota National Guard!
