Hello, the University of North Dakota is seeking new software for managing its conferences and events and TTaDA’s Office of Extended Learning is leading the RFP process. We have been charged by UND’s Executive Council to collect information on all of UND’s events, conferences, camps, etc. to determine current and anticipated future needs in these areas. As we continue to move the RFP process forward, we are inviting the campus to a focus group where we would like to obtain more information on services currently being provided at UND, as well as current and anticipated future needs when it comes to conferences and events (including camps). We would also like to gather information such as the number of events, conferences, or camps your unit/department offers or sponsors each year where registration is required, the time of year each is offered, # of days of offering, target audience, # of participants, location the conference/event/camp is held, is housing required for participants (hotel, campus dorms, etc.), approximate cost the participants pay for each conference/event/camp that is offered (even if free), exhibitors, sponsorships, and contact information.  This information will be used to better identify and describe the event, conference, and camp-related needs for all of UND. We would like to start compiling this information now so please utilize the shared Excel spreadsheet below prior to the focus group to add in the conferences, events, and camps that you sponsor or manage.

Here are the times of the two, in-person focus groups that will both be held in O’Kelly Hall, Room 343.  Please select one as they will be the same information.

Thursday, August 31,  1-2 pm

Wednesday, September 6,  3-4 pm

• Select your preferred date and time from the two options – if the September date works better, use the right arrow by August to get to September (click on both the date and time otherwise you will get an error).
• Enter your name, email address, and your unit or department in the designated fields.
• Click the 'Book' button to confirm your participation.
• The focus group should be automatically added to your Outlook Calendar (please check).
