This Community Class will provide an educational session focused on mental health, including an overview of mental states and common mental illnesses. The instructor, Melissa Lennon, will address the stigma that often surrounds mental health concerns and explore practical ways community members can help reduce that stigma.

In addition, the Community Class will review available treatment options, highlighting the differences between inpatient and outpatient behavioral health services. Melissa will also share information about Altru’s Behavioral Health Center and offer guidance on how and when to make appropriate referrals.

Entering the O'Kelly-Gillette Link and taking the link elevator to O'Kelly 1st floor. Travel from the link elevator to the O'Kelly main elevator and take it to O'Kelly 3rd floor.
