This fall UND read Daryl Smith’s Diversity’s Promise for Higher Education: Making it Work. Join us Wednesday, December 8 from 3:00 - 4:30 p.m. as we extend that conversation with the author and industry leaders to consider the promise diversity offers to our graduates as they enter the workforce. Panelists will discuss how the work we do to educate students in equity and inclusion is essential to building successful careers across various economic sectors.  Zoom link will be provided upon registration.

Panelists include:

  • Daryl G. Smith - Senior Research Fellow and Professor Emerita of Education and Psychology at Claremont Graduate University, author of Diversity's Promise for Higher Education: Making it Work
  • Dave St. Peter - President and CEO of the Minnesota Twins organization
  • Genevieve Negron-Gonzales - Associate Professor of Leadership Studies in the School of Education and Affiliate Faculty in the Migration Studies Program at the University of San Francisco
  • Chris Zygarlicke - Director of Employee Development and Engagement at the Energy & Environmental Research Center.
