This honorary ceremony celebrates graduating College of Engineering & Mines students. Students graduating from engineering disciplines are initiated into the Order of the Engineer, and students from science disciplines accept the Oath of the Scientist. During both segments of the ceremony, students take pledges of integrity, responsibility, and professionalism as they embark on the next chapter of their journeys. We enthusiastically encourage CEM students to participate; this event is very special! We invite participating students’ families and friends, UND faculty and staff, and current students to watch the ceremony.

Graduates must register to participate in this ceremony by May 2.

The ceremony starts at 4:00 p.m.; if you are a participating graduate, please arrive by 3:30 p.m. to allow time to sign in and find your designated seat.
