Virtual Event

Each year, students at colleges and universities in the Northern Valley Region have the opportunity to spend an hour in the life of their future careers. Regional employers open their doors for one-hour conversations with students that include information about career pathways, company tours, and real-life experiences. This year, all conversations will be held virtually.

The goals Career Conversations are to:

  • Create connections between students and professionals in the greater Grand Forks area
  • Give college and university students an opportunity to observe daily/routine activities, ask questions, and link academic learning to real-world applications
  • Build community partnerships between our post-secondary schools and companies
  • Help prepare college and university students for regional in-demand careers upon graduation
  • Cover the full spectrum of regional careers for students receiving training at our region’s universities and colleges by matching them with targeted employers

Career Fields include:

  • Architecture or Engineering
  • Banking, Economics, Investing or Accounting
  • Business, Human Resources, or Supply Chain Management
  • CEO, CFO, President, Vice President, or Entrepreneurship
