A free and open-to-the-public Battlebots Tournament will coincide with the upcoming VEX Robotics North Dakota Signature Presented by Bifrost at the Alerus Center on November 2.

It will be an exciting day filled with robots! The Battlebots Tournament will include 1 lb (antweight) and 3 lb (beetle weight) weight classes going head-to-head in an enclosed 8’ x 8’ arena.

Tournament Format: Group Stage where 3-1 and better records move into Single Elimination

Sign Ups: There are open spots for 20 antweight (1 lbs) bots and 20 beetleweight (3 lbs) bots, with a limit of 2 bots per weight class per driver. Sign up starts September 26th at 10:00 a.m. CST.

Food: No outside food/beverages permitted, though there will be concessions onsite

Arena: 8’x8’, TBD on floor type

Entry Fee: $30 per bot

Ruleset: This event will follow SPARC rules.

Spectators: Spectators are welcome and free to attend, and doors open at 7 a.m.
