More than a play, this is a workshop for teens to learn or polish their acting skills. Theatre protocols will be gone over, visiting artists will share their knowledge, resumes will be written, and all participants will receive a professional headshot.  In addition, they will enjoy working on a play that deals with important issues for today’s society. This is a small group experience.

Synopsis: A comedic romp into the world of fantasy role-playing games. She Kills Monsters tells the story of high schooler Agnes Evans as she deals with the death of her younger sister Tilly. When Agnes stumbles upon Tilly’s Dungeons & Dragons notebook she finds herself catapulted into a journey of discovery and action-packed adventure in the imaginary world that was her sisters.

Rehearsals:  Thurs & Friday evenings; Saturday & Sunday afternoons
Show runs Jan. 24-26.  Rehearsals begin Dec. 5^th and break Dec. 23-Jan. 2.  Given the winter break in December, it is essential actors are committed to the work and know their lines as of Jan. 3.
 *We understand that many young actors have December obligations and can work around some scheduling conflicts as long as they are not excessive.
