Join Agricultural Law Association, Energy Law Association, and Environmental Law Society for a casual conversation about Agrivoltaics. As consumers turn to more renewable energy resources, Agrivoltaics is gaining popularity across the midwest and west. Agrivoltaics allows for maximum utilization of the land by growing crops or running livestock under solar panels. Mr. Bradley Heins from the University of Minnesota is head of an Agrivoltaics research project at the West Central Research and Outreach Center in Morris, Minnesota. Mr. Heins will discuss potential legal issues that may arise as more agricultural producers opt to install solar panels on their land.
