African Culture Night

Saturday, February 25, 2023 5 pm to 10 pm

African Night is a cultural event held annually on the University of North Dakota campus. It is known to be one of the largest cultural nights at UND. This grand evening promotes the diversity of students of African background and shares their cultures through dance, food, education, and fashion. This is a red carpet event, come dressed to impress!

Main Event: Show starts at 5:00pm (Large Ballroom)

Post-Event Celebration: 8:00pm (Small Ballroom)

Menu: Appetizer- Beef Samosas, Entree-Tikka masala (Rice and Chicken), Dessert-Dairy-free ice-cream

Speakers: Dr. Art Malloy (UND VP Student Affairs), Dr. Grace Karikari (UND Educator Scholar), Dr. Delore Zimmerman (Praxis Africa), and Doris Lebby(Love in Action, GF)

Performers: Spice Dancers(Fargo, ND), All-Star Afro Dancers (Fargo, ND), Caribbean Afro Dancers (Grand Forks, ND), Grandma Regina, Gracia, Brian & Glory, Emile, Zamzam, Khadeejah
