On October 11, 2024 in the small ballroom of the Memorial Union at UND, the psychology department will be holding its 11th  Annual Northern Lights Conference. The keynote speaker is Professor Barry Rosenfeld of Fordham University who is a Professor of Psychology and Adjunct Professor of Law at Fordham University. He will be speaking about: “ Forensic Psychological Assessment in Civil Law:  Where Refugee Mental Health Meets Personal Injury Law.”  In addition, there will be a panel discussion about: “Fake News: The Psychology of Misinformation and Pseudo Science. “ Other events at the conference include speakers and posters on various topics from students and faculty from UND and regional colleges and universities. The event is free and open to  students, staff, faculty, and the public.
